Welcome to My Home
This page is is intended for those who want to know more about who I am and what I do.This is a place for me to share both professional and personal information with colleagues, friends and family on various subjects including my background, information technology, side projects, and hobbies.
Early Days
Software and electronics has been my passion from an early age. I started my career writing software for researchers at Stony Brook University while still in high school. This led to working on the motor control system at Brookhaven National Laboratory’s National Synchrotron Light Source (NSLS) Beamline X19C. The main focus of work at the lab was to maintain the motor control system hardware and design software that was used for precise positioning of crystals within a high powered X-RAY beam.
I have some great memories working over at the BNL NSLS Millenium Falcon, but that was "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...."
Fast Forward
Today I lead a multi-disciplinary team of technical innovators that have brought various aspects of "common use" equipment to over 500 international and domestic airports around the world.
